Denka’s Altair collection ~ La Tierra

This year and the next: let’s stay together forever, celebrating every moment and feeling- especially the ineffable ones.

Earth (Tierra in Spanish, Terra in Latin) is the third closest planet to the sun and is abundant with life; especially that special someone you hold dear. The word “Chikyuu” (Earth in Japanese) originated first in Chinese, and the first document to use the word was “Kunyoshi Bankoku Zenzu” by Italian missionary Matteo Ricci. In Japan, this Chinese word was imported around the Edo period (1603-1868), and examples of its use can be found in “Seiyo Kibun” and “Wakan Sanzai Zukai” from the 1700s.

Express the fusion of the sea and the lush forests of our beautiful planet.
The world’s rarest three-color gradation that never fails to catch the eye.

Our silk shines beautifully: A kimono fabric with a graceful, minimalist design.

*Limited to 13 pieces. Please note that it may be sold out.

The colors are deep cerulean blue and green, like those you can see from even beyond our stratosphere.
