As beautiful and elegant as the Milky Way
Altair is the brightest star in the Aquila constellation and is also known as ‘The Eagle Star’ – the 12th brightest star in the night sky. According to the Tanabata legend, the star Orihime (also known as ‘Vega’) shines on the opposite bank of the Milky Way from Hikoboshi (the star Altair).
The Milky Way: a thing of mystery and beauty. When put simply, it is a galaxy that includes our own solar system. It can even be seen from our own night sky, our entire world enveloped by it. The spiraling Milky Way Galaxy cradles Earth within its immense and tremendous dance through space.
